Brewers On Deck
Saturday we drove to Milwaukee for 2010 edition of Brewers on Deck at the Midwest Airlines Center.
Grady and Dad
Grady showing Dad where to go.
We love how happy he looks here. Notice little sister is following behind.
Grady and Mommy
Grady poses with a co-worker of his Mom at Watertown HS, Mike Bartley (One of the Brew Crew)
Hot Dog, Chorizo, Grady, Ryan, Polish, Hillary, Italian and Brat.
Hillary, Brewer Pitcher Chris Narveson (Grandparents lived in Dodgeville, Ryan's Hometown)
Grady and the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers Mascot "Fang". (Brewers Single A affiliate in the Fox Valley)
Retired Brewers Slugger Greg Vaughn and Grady. Sorry Vaughny, Grady was a little more interested in the baseball he just found. He didn't realize that you were one of his Dad's favorite players and that you played for the Crew from 1989-1996. By the way that was same time Dad was in High School and College. P.S. Vaughn hit 355 Home Runs during his 15 year career.
Eyes up Mister!
Brewer Outfielder Jody Gerut with Grady and Mom. Jody was very friendly. He asked how old Grady was and talked about his 15 month old son Troy.
I hope some day Grady has someone as great as Robin Yount to be a fan of. Robin was a rookie for the Brewers in 1974. That was the year Ryan was born. Robin retired after the 1993 season. He was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1999.
Grady watches Mom get a baseball painted on her hand.
Grady tried to pick up every baseball he could see.
This was the shirt we posted on our blog the day he was born. It is the first time he was big enough to wear it.
Grady tries out the batting cages with the help of a UW-Milwaukee baseball player and Dad.
Grady seemed more interested in pitching than hitting. This should make his Dad's cousins Dave and Joe proud.
The Bullpen Car that was used in the movie major league.
Maybe by the time Grady is pitching in the big leagues, they will have brought back the Bullpen Car!
