Halloween Happenings

Saturday got under way with a trip to Camp Randall to watch the Badgers take on Purdue.
My neighbor Paul Wood and his son Tyler, thank ypu for the ticket!
Signs of Halloween were everywhere.
Even Bucky got into the spirit. Here is Ninja Bucky.
Ghost Bucky, the sign he is carrying said Boo.
Batman Bucky also made an appearance.
Back to the game. Badgers cruised to a 37-0 win over the Boilermakers.
The view from Section J, Row 20.
Later in the day it was time to hit the streets for treats! Luke and Grady are ready to roll.
Our first stop was over to my parent's friend Carol's home.
The boys (especially Luke) really enjoyed going door to door for loot.
The boys paused for a pic before continuing their quest.
I hope the boys had as much fun as their parents did. I for one can't wait until next year!

Look What Came in the Mail Today

What could it be?
Is it a Wild Thing?
It is a Little Bucky Badger!

Look Who Is Eleven Months Old!

Grady turned 11 months old on Saturday. The weather was pretty swell so we enjoyed some time in the nearby park.
The next couple months will be quite busy, around our house. This coming weekend brings Grady's first Halloween. We are planning to do the neighborhood loop. Cousin Luke will be joining us. Sunday we will be heading to Dodgeville to wish Grandma Joan a happy birthday. We will also be watching the Packers of course.
We also hope to get up North to Mercer once more to give Grandma and Grandma Phelps a hand up at the cabin.
Later this month brings the final home Badger game and Deer Hunting Season. It is also Grandma Barb's, Hillary's and Grandpa Randy's birthdays. Oh and don't forget Thanksgiving too!

Cousin Luke Visits

This might be about the only time I have ever been able to take their picture and they were both smiling. Luke's Mom and Dad had a date so he came to visit us.
Luke teaching Grady letters, before bath time.
After bath time it was movie time. Cars was the feature film.
Luke wanted to try on the Packer helmet. But in order to look in the mirror he had to use the Badger bathroom.
Hillary took a picture of all the guys hanging out in the basement. Brooks, Ryan, Grady and Luke!

Pumpkin Pals

As promised here is a look at some more the past weekends activities.
Michelle, Luke, Grady and Hillary at Doug and Marty's Pumpkin Patch
Luke searches far and wide for just the right pumpkin.
Grady thinks top shelf is the best way to go.
With some help from his cousin, Grady's almost set.
Luke practicing his smiles for the camera.
The boys begin the process of posing for pictures.
"Wait, I have got an idea."
First they tried a pic in front of the sign. Luke was told to hold onto Grady.
Uh oh, escape!
That one didn't quite work out.
"New plan, come sit right here."
"Hey, not on me!" (Notice Michelle had to hold him in the shot.)
After pumpkin photos it was off to Ella's Deli for a ride on the carousel.
Someone is not a fan of carousels.

Breakfast with the Badgers

It was a tad chilly Saturday Morning. Good weather for a Badger tailgate.
Chef Duey and Woody manning the grill. French Toast and Bacon. Is there anything better?
Unfortunately this might have been the only highlight of the day.Camp Randall at Game Time
After skipping the game to look for pumpkins, Grady, Hillary, Luke and Michelle made it to the tailgate.

Luke plays the drums while Grady keeps the beat.
Grandma and Grandpa Lobenstein took the boys home overnight Saturday.
