Babysitter in Training
June has simply been crazy busy for us. If you have been reading the blog you have noticed quite a few weddings. June 20th Grady had some special sitters. His Aunt Ashley and Uncle Trevor watched him. Grady's diaper(s) would be the first diaper(s) either ever changed. We are happy to report everyone came out of the day A-OK. Here are some of the pics they took of the day.

...and wins, 3. They made the right decision to leave the fish at the fair. Brooks probably would have ate them.
Grady is ready for the trip home. We assume he fell asleep and did not order a tox screen.

He also says you owe him some goldfish!

What a Weekend...Continues!
Saturday

After returning from Milwaukee mid-morning we went shopping. Stay tuned for details.
In the afternoon we went out to Dodgeville and picked up Grady and then back home to Sun Prairie.
Sunday
Bernie would be very bored.
For some reason Grady got super hungry after watching the sausage race.

The Lobensteins took the annual family trip to Miller Park. Rick, Michelle, and Luke Marx, Gary, Grady, Hillary and Joan Lobenstein.

What a Weekend!
THURSDAY
The weekend got started early with a trip to Milwaukee. For those of you counting along, this is Grady's second Brewer game.
Grady counted his toes before we headed into Miller Park. Yep, all 10.
Our seats were in the sun almost the entire game. It was quite warm. But there are some nice fans in the concourse.
Rachael and Josh Erickson joined us at the game before they headed over to Summerfest.
Ryan Braun awaits a pitch with Twins Catcher, Joe Mauer behind the plate.
My co-worker Robb Vogel and his son, Duncan and wife Luanne also joined us for the game.

Grady eats a Hot Dog. Meanwhile the Brewers would lose 4-6 to the Twins. (Grady's lifetime record is 1-1)
Thursday night I came back to play softball. We would lose 10-11.
FRIDAY
It was back to Milwaukee on Friday after a trip out to Dodgeville to leave Grady with Grandpa and Grandma Lobenstein. Thank you Mom and Dad for watching him and Brooks.
Hillary with our neighbors and friends Phil and Emily Witkiewicz on the bus to Summerfest. Thank you to Phil's Mom and Big Poppa Smooth for letting us stay the night at their home in Hales Corners and for the ride to and from the park and ride.
It is best to discuss who is buying and how much before this happens. Good times!
Our first stop of the evening was at the Harley Stage. We watched Flatfoot 56, a Celtic-punk band from Chicago. Reminded me of Dropkick Murphy's.
The Counting Crows opened the evening at the Marcus Ampitheater.

Dad's Day
It was a very busy and fun Father's Day. Thank you Hillary for coming along and most importantly for being my partner and Grady's Mommy!
Hillary and Grady took me out for breakfast at the Market Street Diner in Sun Prairie.
Then we drove to Brodhead, WI for some go-kart racing at the Sugar River Raceway. (Danica Patrick started her racing career here)
Jessica and My Sister Michelle with the boys See No Evil, Hear No Evil, Speak No Evil. Matt, Grady and Luke.
Luke tries on his Dad's helmet. Rick would set this all up for us. Thanks Rick.
We get to racing...notice I am in 2nd and wearing shorts.

John would be the guy to beat all day. Eventually he finished 2nd overall.
Nate cruising after a minor spin out.
I eventually would fall to last and frankly would have finished worse than last if it was possible. While avoiding a stalled car I managed to go off track and landed in a mud puddle. Good times!
When we got home it was time for some family bonding. Grady has discovered his tongue.
Grady also found Mommy's tongue.

Hillary and I would also like to thank our Fathers, Randy and Gary. Without them we wouldn't be able to celebrate our own special day. We love you!
