The New Children's Museum

Audra, Grady and Hillary outside the brand new Madison Children's Museum.
A must see if you have kids and live near or are visiting Madison.

Tuesday we were able to get an early tour of the new Madison Children's Museum. A special thank you goes to Aunt Ashley and Uncle Trevor. They purchased the membership for Grady as a Christmas Gift.
Audra hanging out while...
...big brother Grady checks out the 3 levels of fun.
Grady spent the first 10 minutes playing the drum.
The indoor rain garden...
...was very beautiful and...
Grady got a kick out of playing with water. I know shocking.
Kids can design their own ball ramps at this display.
Moving up to the 2nd floor, a mini-madison complete with...
buses and cars. Hillary and Audra enjoying a beverage.
The State Capitol building can be seen out the window in the background.
Throughout the museum are neat quotes. Local artists designed the first letter of each of them.
On the roof is a chicken coop with...
...peepholes at the right heights for kids.
Beautiful landscaping and a pond were some of the other features on the roof. Apparently this will be open year round even with snow.
Grady back in the water.
Summer Flowers...
...in a tunnel of evergreens...
...and Grady guides his Mom and Sister along the way.
I thought this summed it up the best!
