Family Vacation Day 2

On Monday, we spent the day in and around Pittsburgh, PA. Grady gets a smooch from Mommy.
This is the view of Downtown Pittsburgh from atop Mt. Washington.
Grady and Hillary pose in front of the home Hillary and her family lived in until she was 3. McMurray, PA is about 20 miles south of Pittsburgh.
Back in Pittsburgh, we visited the Carnegie Science Center.
At first, it seemed all Grady would care about were the wheels on his stroller.
We would also find a couple of his favorite things. Balls and Water!
We worked on his throwing and sharing.
In one room, there was a model train exhibit that was huge. Look for more on this when we post the video.
More water and more balls. Grady and Hillary check out another exhibit.
This might look familiar. The Madison Children's Museum has the same exhibit.
Grady found yet another exhibit with balls.
One floor was full of Robots. I introduced Grady to an old pal. This reminded me that I can't wait until he is old enough to watch Star Wars for the first time.
Hillary and Grady meet another long time pal.
Loberace got a chance to tickle the ivories.
We had a lot fun, and we think he did too!

It was a short walk along the river to our next event of the day...

A Brewer game at PNC Park vs. the Pirates.

Our seats were about 20 rows behind home plate. As you can see, there aren't a lot of fans going to Pirates games. This is sad since it is such a beautiful ballpark.

One of the few Brewer highlights, a Prince Fielder homer!

Looking back at the park on our walk back to the car. It was on to West Virginia for our next stop...

Looks like a lot of fun, love how the science museum is for little ones too, ours is not as little kid friendly. I have to say that the picture of Grady with Ryan where an orange ball is popping out of the water makes him look like about a 2 year old, not sure if it is the tank top and jean shorts or what, but it gives you a little glimpse of what the future holds:) super cute!
