Our good friends from Watertown, Joe and Joanie Meyers, visited us on Tuesday evening. They brought a beautiful wooden basket (Joe specializes in woodwork.) filled with vegetables from their garden. What a thoughtful surprise! Joe was my wonderful custodian at Watertown High School. He retired this past spring, and I already miss seeing his happy face at the end of every school day!
I love my bananas and cereal, but those fans and lights on the ceiling are much more exciting!
