Grady slept through the night on Wednesday, January 14th! We put him down around 10:30 pm, and he woke up at 6:30 am! So far, this has been a once in a lifetime event because last night I was up twice with him. Maybe he will sleep through the night again tonight.
I was dreaming up movie titles of my life right now, and I'm currently thinking about "No Sleep for New Mothers." (A spin of "No Country for Old Men.")
A chronicle of our lives together as a family in the Midwest. Ryan, a sports enthusiast. Hillary, a proud mother counting down to our family's first trip to Disney. Grady, a future All-American. Audra, our curly little cruiser. Brooks, a terrorist terrier.

SNL
I have watched Saturday Night Live for as long as I can remember and even through the poor years. The past season was hilarious. Check out this skit from the past weekend.

Milestones
Tomorrow, Grady will be seven weeks already! He has already had two big milestones. On Friday, January 2nd, we saw him smile for the first time. Tonight, Brooks made him smile! He is also beginning to make cooing sounds and express happiness (but it's not a laugh just yet).
On Thursday, January 8th, we were at Phil and Emily's house for dinner. Grady had some tummy time. We all watched him roll from his tummy onto his side! We all cheered loudly; you would have thought we were at a sporting event!

A Busy Weekend
It is Sunday morning and so far we have had a fairly productive weekend. Friday night we went out for fish with our friends John Melahn and the Stauffachers. We tried the Bridges GC restaurant and I would give them the thumbs up. Here are some of the pictures from the last few days.
Grady getting ready to leave for dinner Friday night. Of course he looks like this no matter where he is going...
Grady getting to meet Bob and Jessie's son Trenton, 7 1/2 months old. Bob and I play softball together for the Red Shed.
Saturday morning I was inpired by this website http://deadspin.com/tag/baby-mangino/ Assuming he grows a goatee when he gets older I hope he works on something other than a comb over.

What Should I Wear Today?
Hillary asked me not to write this because she works with the person(s) who gave us this outfit. Well, I don't work with them and I didn't make him wear this outfit. I also thought a munchkin had stopped by on his to see the Wizard, the Wonderful Wizard of Oz.
Our neighbors Emily and Caleb stopped by to visit later in the day. Here Emily is trying to stop Caleb from beating Grady up, I think.

Grady Visits the Kohl
Today Grady went to his first Badger basketball game at the Kohl Center in Madison.
He slept as I carried him in and woke up just in time for the National Anthem.
In case you wanted to know how the Badgers did... Behind 23 points, five rebounds and two blocks from Marcus Landry, Wisconsin knocked off Penn State, 65-61, Saturday at the Kohl Center. The Badgers (11-3, 2-0) have now won nine consecutive games against the Nittany Lions (12-3) and now lead the all-time series 22-8 against PSU. -www.uwbadgers.com
