A Wisconsin Sunday Tradition
Sunday Hillary and I went to the greatest sports stadium on earth, Lambeau Field.
This was Hillary's third trip to Lambeau, second time for a Packer game, and first regular season game. Back on 2/11/2006 we went to a Badger Hockey game at Lambeau. (Badgers beat OSU 4-2) Next on 8/11/2008 we saw the Packers (Aaron Rodgers first career start) lose 17-20 to the Bengals in pre-season football.
Our day was made possible by our amazing relatives who watched the kids. Grady's Uncle Trevor and Aunt Ashley hosted Grady overnight at their house. Meanwhile Audra stayed with my Aunt Colleen, Uncle Dale and Cousins Connor and Chloe. Thank You!!!
The guy on the right was Dodgeville High School Football's Starting Center in 1990 and 1991.
Today he is volunteering for his son's pre school working concessions at Lambeau.
Neil Oelklaus and I, best friends from our days growing up in Dodgeville. Who could have imagined a couple of offensive line teammates would some day both be working at Lambeau Field. I am guessing since we won 1 total game back in 90 and 91 that the answer would be no one. However, Neil works for a sign company in Green Bay and he worked on a lot of signage in and around Lambeau. I have been lucky to cover the Packers during my time at WKBT and WMTV for our sports departments. So technically we both worked at Lambeau, just not quite the way we had once hoped back when we were Dodgers.
Your Green Bay Packers...
Lets be honest...this in my mind is the "perfect" date.
Blue 52, Blue 52, Set...
Aaron Rodgers drops back in the pocket as the Detroit Lions drop back into coverage...
...fires a rocket to Jermichael Finley over the middle in the end zone, Touchdown Packers!
Finley gets congratulated by Donald Driver and Greg Jennings. All 3 would catch first half touchdowns from Rodgers.
Look who else is at Lambeau...Julie and Chad Kreblin, Tracy Van Write, Paul, Hillary and me.
In a game that ended up being way closer than it should have, the Packers held on to beat the Lions 28-26.

Seriously, did you all just end up at the same game or was this planned??
Any man in WI would agree with you on the "perfect date" Ryan...and in my case, a girl transplanted to MN, would think it to be also:)
You also have some amazing relatives to make it all happen for you! Wow!
