Labor Day weekend began with a gathering of the families who I have played softball with over the years. This year we we named the annual tradition after a friend and former teammate who died in a car crash. Steinkfest 2010.
Audra was so excited to go and meet everyone that she slept the entire time.
What started as an end of the year softball/beerball game has morphed into kickball.
Grady however still wanted to play baseball.
The Red Shed was the original sponsor of our Thursday Night Softball team. The original group of guys started playing together about 15 years ago. 
After the game we grilled out and played cards at the Ruplinger home. We also posed with the Steinke Memorial Trophy which went to the teams annual JVP (Jessica's Most Valuable Player).
