Here We Go Brewers

Friday April 22nd @ Miller Park, Brewers vs. Astros
Audra's first trip to Miller Park this season and 2nd Brewer game overall.
Audra and Daddy by the Bob Uecker Milwaukee Braves Display.
Our neighbors Paul and Tyler joined us.
Tyler, Grady and the Hot Dog Racing Sausage
The Italian Sausage visited us at our seats before the game.
Grady gave him five!
Tonight was the Brewers first game since Ryan Braun signed a long term deal to remain a Brewer through at least 2020.
Daddy and Audra checking out the...
...fireworks!
Grady took a break from the game to work on his breaking ball.
Prince was impressed.
Grady does his best Bernie Impression. Bernie was busy because Braun, Gallardo and Gomez all hit homers for the crew.
Hello from the Lobensteins at Miller Park!
Tribute to Bob Uecker!

Dad's Little Helper

Accomplishing work outside the house isn't as simple when you have young kids. In order to get things done we will occasionally offer the "opportunity" to Grady to help.
This usually consists of me getting as much done as possible, while trying to keep an eye on him so he doesn't wander off.
We dig, dig, dig, dig, dig all the day through...
After a couple minutes of "helping" me dig, Grady dropped the shovel and said, "I done. Shovel too big. Daddy do it. I go inside."

The Moo-haas-um!

Audra explores a hut in the Madison Children's Museum.
Evidentally this guy didn't listen to her and so she poked him in the eye.
Audra meets a boy at the baby area of the museum. Fortunately for him he left shortly after she arrived. I didn't want her poking him in the eye and I didn't want him giving him her phone number.
Audra tries on a hat in the old fashioned clothes store portion of the museum.
This is possibly my most favorite picture I have ever taken of Hillary and Audra.
Grady practicing his shapes. For whatever reason, museums are pronounced Moo-haas-um to Grady. He refuses to say Museum. Either way he loves it there.
Grady checking out the high tech lego inventions.
He really gets a kick out of pushing the buttons and making the displays function. Not to mention it gives us a reprieve from having to chase him all over the building.
Giddyup and Spelunking
Look who showed up? Cousin Luke!
The boys hang out at the water display.
Luke shows Grady what Uncle Rick does for water department.
You want some french fried potatoes? MmmHmmm I reckon.
It took close to 30 pictures to get this! Getting 3 kids to look at a camera and smile is as tough as getting politicians to work together.
Luke and Grady looking down on the people below.
Sorta kinda like what is happening in the big building in the background.
To celebrate the end of a fun filled weekend the kids were given ice cream treats! It was Audra's first cone. Actually this is Hillary's cone so Audra didn't eat the whole thing. But I am sure she would have if given the chance.
Grady shows his sister how to do it.
Apparently Grady picked this flavor out while shopping with his mom. Neopolitan
Mom, don't even try to take this away from me. Delicious!

Catching up with Audra

Since we last updated you all on Audra she learned to play the guitar. Her influences include the Foo Fighters, AC DC and Paul Simon.
Audra enjoys playing fetch with Brooks.
Brooks doesn't quite get his normal exercise off the distance of Audra's throws.
All in all he enjoys playing with her.

Her newest skills are crawling and organizing.

Egg Hunt Training

What's Up Doc?
Grandpa Randy and Aunt Ashley going over Easter Egg Hunt guidelines. It was the annual kids Easter event at the Methodist Church in Watertown.
Audra is off and searching for her first Easter eggs.
Out of my way Mom I have eggs to find.
The golden egg!
Wait a minute this isn't an egg, Grandpa has a cupcake. Correction, Grandpa had a cupcake.
One big bunny and Grady.
Audra is not so sure about this guy.
Grady picking Easter candy out of his teeth while Audra looks like she still isn't too sure about this.
