Ma, what's for dinner?

It was a busy weekend. Sunday night we gave Grady his first taste of rice cereal.
At first he wanted no part of it...
...but, then he gave it a try...
...and after a couple bites...
...he appeared to really like it!
He even cleaned up after himself.

Luke's Birthday Party

Sunday we went to Luke's house for lunch and to celebrate his 2nd Birthday.
Michelle, Grandma Donna, Hillary, Grandpa Gary, Luke, Rick, Grandma Joan and Grady watch Luke open gifts.
Grady admires one of Luke's presents a Dump Truck, Cement Mixer.

Grady really loved looking at the toy truck.
Grandpa reads our card to Luke, we gave him a book, Geotrax playset and a Brewer game invite.

Grandpa and Luke getting ready to blow out the candle. But NOT sing Happy Birthday. For some reason he didn't want us to sing it to him. I think it cuts into his cake eating time.

Grandma and Grandpa Lobe with their Grandsons. Grady wanted some cake too.

Seriously, is someone going to get me a piece of that? I can wash it down with this.

...Getting Colder, Colder, Colder!

Forget what I was saying about it getting warmer!

Getting Warmer, Warmer, Warmer...

Each day the temps have been warming up. I really look forward to getting home and going on a walk with Hillary, Grady and Brooks.

We think he is enjoying getting out too!

After our walk tonight, Grady's Aunt Ashley and Uncle Trevor came over with their dog Oscar for supper, we did carry-out from Atlantis Taverna (Greek Food).

Happy Birthday Luke

I stopped over at Chucky Cheese, where Luke was celebrating his 2nd birthday on March 5th.

Right on Target

You know your life is changing when a new store opens and it is the most exciting thing going on.
Wednesday night we packed up the family truckster and headed to Sun Prairie's newest retail jewel. Target opened on the west side of Sun Prairie. I didn't bring a camera to document the day. However, I did send a crew from work to cover the opening. Check out the story here. http://www.nbc15.com/news/headlines/40691447.html

We would also like to wish a very happy 2nd Birthday to our nephew Luke today. He told me he is getting cupcakes. He also told me that he would share one (reluctantly) with Grady. However, Aunt Hillary doesn't get one. But, Uncle Ryan does!

Here are a couple of pictures that my sister Michelle took of him a little while ago. In the first picture he said he was a spaceman and going to go to the moon and Venus. The second picture was taken at the Children's museum in Rockford, IL.
I think he looks like a goofy superhero...Aqua Turd Defender of Bathtubs

I love this picture. I am looking forward to playing ball again, and taking the boys to a Brewer game.

Blue Harbor

This weekend we went to the Blue Harbor Resort in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. We went with my best friends from high school, their husbands, and children. We all had a great time there, and we're planning on doing it again next year! We celebrated Kayla's sixth birthday. Callie went down a big water slide for the first time. Grady "swam" for the first time.

Grady enjoying the water for the first time!
