Best Friends

One of our concerns before Grady was born was how Brooks would be around and with him. The first few weeks/month Brooks and Grady didn't seem to notice each other. As they have gotten older it has been really enjoyable watching our little guys interact and entertain each other.

Blogger Buddies

My wonderful friend Kelsey and her family visited Wisconsin Dells last week. Kelsey lives in Ohio, so this was a big treat to get to spent some time together. Kelsey and I met at camp in 1994 and have been good friends since ever since we found and captured a very large furry, fuzzy, jumping spider late one night. Kelsey has two children: Harper and Michael. Harper was a big help when we were visiting. She retrived the bottle and threw out a diaper. Can Harper come and live with us (if only for a few days)?

Sunday in the Dells

The day began with a duck ride.
Grady and Mommy enjoyed the ride.
Early on we saw some deer.
Grady with the wind blowing through his hair, hanging with our friend Woody.
After the Duck ride it was off to Noah's Ark.
Grady, Hillary and our friends and neighbors Missy, Tyler and Woody.

We wrapped up our day in the Dells with a bite to eat at Monk's downtown.

Museums and Fairs

After the museum we headed over the Old Fashioned. Our favorite Madison restaurant.
From the look of things, this might become Grady's favorite too. (The flyer is for a type of beer. The restaurant serves Wisconsin Supper Club food and fantastic Old Fashioneds)
Earlier in the day Grady visited the Dane County Fair with Aunt Ashley and Mommy. They headed to the museum when it started to rain.
Hillary, Grady and I headed back on Saturday. Of course we had to try out some fair food. Corn Dog, Cheese Curds, and of a course we all split a Cream Puff.
Grady enjoyed watching the acrobats.
It was pretty amazing pole work.
Grady got a kick out of the baby animals.

Grady won a toy turtle after picking out a duck on the midway.

Hillary's friend Kelsey from Ohio sent us this toy duck tub. It fits his piano perfectly. Brooks enjoys the tune, while I enjoyed the Brewer game.
The Brewers must of hit a home run!
At the end of the night it was time for a bath and some tub basketball courtesy of Grandma Phelps.
