Our Summer Vacation 2010 - Day 2

Saturday we hung out at the house for most of the day but then headed downtown to the capitol in the late afternoon. In this picture Hillary is explaining how a bill becomes a law to the kids.

For dinner we checked out a new restaurant called Graze on the square. Grady sharing crescent rolls with Hillary.
Audra wanted to dress up for evening out.
Grady didn't last long cooped up in the restaurant so he headed across the street with mom to run some more before our next stop.
Our final stop of the evening was Camp Randall Stadium in hopes of spotting Bucky.
Sure enough Grady found him, this was on a dumpster.

Our Summer Vacation 2010 - Day 1

Friday it was off to Milwaukee to the Zoo. We met Hillary's friends from high school.

Grady came running up to us saying "roar" over and over while wearing this hat. It was quite amusing.
That is correct!
Grady lost interest in the dinosaurs fast when he found this hoop and ball combo in the gift shop.

Softball Season Winding Down

Thursday nights have been softball night for our house. Although this tends to be my night off while Hillary wrestles the kids. Our team has done better than last season but has hit a bit of cold streak of late. Ironic since the weather has been hot. Evidenced by my shirt in this pic.
My cousin Dave played for us. He would prove to be a huge addition as he scored our only run in a 2 -1 slowpitch softball loss.
Our neighbor's the Witkiewicz came out to watch. Here their son Caleb cheers on his favorite player from the neighborhood, Woody. The boys love to yell Woody, Woody, Woody!
Woody greets his fan base, Grady while Hillary and Audra enjoy some refreshments.
