Audra's First Bath (Not so happy)
Our friends--Julie, Mya, and Izzy Kreblin--visited on Tuesday. Izzy was born on May 21st, so Izzy is 15 days older than Audra. Here they demonstrate how good they are at sharing a blanket.

Izzy and Audra enjoying some "crib time" together. (Audra is cross dressing in her older brother's cute dinosaur outfit.) We couldn't get both of them to open their eyes at the same time. One was awake and the other was sleeping. Sigh...the tough life of a small baby!

Crash Gordon Grady! Yes, he is showing off his triple injuries of the weekend. Forehead: he fell on toys and hit a plastic box at daycare on Friday. Bloody lip x2: he was hit by a swing Saturday and then on Sunday he tripped and re-injured a gum injury from the previous weekend. Neck: Grady was holding onto Brooks leash inside the house before a walk and was clotheslined by Brooks Friday night. Grady's comment: "Look folks, I'm a tough and rough kid. I roll with the punches and keep on smiling!"

Cousin Luke and Grady took Grandpa and Ryan to the local pond for a little exploration.(Note from Ryan:Hillary failed to point out all the fish swimming in the pond.)
Yes, that is Bambi sitting still for us. Here's the story: Bambi comes running out of the woods at Grandma and Grandpa's house. Bambi is chased by Grandma and Grandpa's two golden retrievers and Brooks. Aunt Michelle and I chase the dogs away from Bambi. Bambi is okay, but incredibly frightened. The boys get a once-in-a-lifetime photo opportunity with Bambi. Bambi was so scared that we were able to pet it. Grandpa Gary and Ryan took Bambi up into the woods where he came from in hopes that Bambi's mama was close by. The good news is that Bambi was gone when they went back to check on him an hour later. We hope all is well with Bambi, and we are sending out a public apology about the dogs chasing cute little Bambi.

Audra and Grady pose with Grandma and Grandpa. Take a look at Grady's finger--he's trying to make a popping sound with his finger in his mouth (just like Grandpa is able to do). He hasn't been successful just yet!
On Sunday, the Spredemann family came to visit us too. Allie and Audra spend some quality time together. Allie is a very gentle and kind young lady; she did a great job of holding Audra.
Cam and Grady play cars together--cars will forever be a passion of these two young boys!
